Education
Program
Throughout the year we develop an education program which contains a
wide range to education sessions and work shops that cater for all staff.
Residents, family members and volunteers are also invited to attend all
session except those marked staff only.
The program is reviewed on a monthly basis and so for you to be kept
fully up to date with the available training and education; we advise
that you view this page on a regular basis.
The program includes both mandatory and voluntary
sessions and we encourage all staff to attend to as many sessions as
possible that are relevant
to their role at DutchCare. Regularly returning topics: fire – and
emergency safety, medication management, dementia care, wound/bowel/skin
care, team building & assertiveness, no lift & manual handling,
Infection Control, Nutrition and much more.
Please note that this program does not include the monthly sessions
we offer to each team through the Ames Well Program. Through this program
we have been able to target many personal skill focused work shops such
as communication, assertiveness, teambuilding, problem solving and listening.
Our main aim of this program is to continue to build and further develop
teams within our organization.
These programs are provided free to our DutchCare family and we encourage
your participation.
We invite you to view the attached list and should you have any further
queries you can contact Barbara Caulfield at: 03 9782 6633 during business
hours.
